Sunita Kejriwal Accuses BJP of Conspiracy Against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal at INDIA Bloc Rally

On Tuesday, Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal, launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She accused the party of fostering "hatred" and hindering the progress of Delhi residents. Her remarks were made during an INDIA bloc rally held at Jantar Mantar, where she also expressed profound concerns over her husband’s safety, asserting that his life is at risk in Tihar Jail due to a purportedly fabricated excise policy case.

Sunita Kejriwal revealed alarming details about her husband’s health condition. Arvind Kejriwal, a long-time diabetic, uses a sensor to continuously monitor his blood sugar levels, which can be critical for his well-being. According to her, while he was at home, his blood sugar levels occasionally dropped to dangerous levels, an occurrence she’d manage with immediate intervention. However, she pointed out that since his incarceration, there have been multiple episodes where his sugar levels dipped catastrophically low.

"If the sugar levels go below 50, the patient starts shivering," she explained, elucidating the gravity of her husband’s health condition. "A few days back, we learned that in jail, his sugar levels have plummeted multiple times."

The AAP has staunchly accused the BJP of a malicious conspiracy to endanger Arvind Kejriwal’s life in jail. The party cited medical reports indicating that his blood sugar levels had dangerously fluctuated 34 times between June 3 and July 7. This alarming health data has raised significant concerns about the adequacy of medical care provided to him in jail.

Sunita Kejriwal attributed her husband’s deteriorating health to deliberate neglect and a hostile environment, asserting that he is facing life-threatening conditions. "Recently, LG sir (VK Saxena) wrote a letter saying that the chief minister is ‘willfully’ reducing his food intake," she said, refuting these claims as absurd while emphasizing the severity of his situation.

Moreover, she questioned the veracity of the charges against Arvind Kejriwal in the now-abandoned Delhi Excise Policy case. She claimed that his arrest was orchestrated based on a single, unsubstantiated statement, adding further skepticism about the legitimacy of the case.

"The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) were both mobilized against him," she stated. "Although the trial court granted him bail, the Centre’s subsequent actions—having the ED take a stay on the bail and the CBI arrest him—were clear indications of a larger conspiracy."

The INDIA bloc rally, which Sunita Kejriwal’s statements electrified, was a concentrated effort by multiple opposition parties to unite against the ruling BJP. Her allegations are part of a larger narrative that portrays the BJP as using its power to quash dissent and stymie the democratic process.

In her closing remarks, Sunita Kejriwal accused the BJP of dictatorial tactics. "Is this not dictatorship and conspiracy of the BJP? They have framed him in a fake case to stop the work of the people of Delhi," she proclaimed passionately. "Arvind Kejriwal will always fight to ensure that the work of the people does not suffer."

As the political tension in Delhi continues to escalate, these developments mark a significant chapter in the ongoing battle between the AAP and BJP, illustrating the profound complexities and stakes involved in the governance of India’s capital city.
