Iran Press/ Iran news: In a statement made on the social platform X on Friday, Kan’ani highlighted the persistent violence and suffering experienced by hundreds of thousands of civilians in Gaza, emphasizing the urgency for these issues to be independently investigated as mandated by the latest International Court of Justice order.
He pointed out that the atrocities committed by the “apartheid Israeli regime” against Palestinian civilians, especially women and children, are evident to the global community and are both distressing and lethal.
Kan’ani stated, “It is not enough to merely speak against these actions; a complete and tangible cessation of US and European support for the racist Israeli regime is required to end this ongoing painful tragedy and the reckless, brutal violence against the people of Palestine.”
Recent reports from Palestinian sources indicate a grim situation, with at least 15 individuals killed in Israeli bombings targeting various areas in central Gaza early on Friday. Additionally, on Thursday, an attack by the Israeli military on a UN-run school in the Nuseirat refugee camp resulted in the deaths of at least 40 Palestinians and left dozens wounded.
