    In Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s newly formed Council of Ministers, six former chief ministers have been appointed as Cabinet Ministers. Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been assigned the crucial portfolio of Agriculture, while former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will be overseeing the Power and Urban Affairs Ministry. Additionally, former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, the leader of Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), has been entrusted with the responsibility of the Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). This information regarding the portfolio allocations was disclosed as of June 10, 2024.
