The feature will be primarily operational in India, Brazil, Indonesia, and Colombia, expanding to other regions in due course.
Chat AI is a novel feature subjected to be an integral part of future WhatsApp Business conversations. This AI will enable businesses to maximize their resource utilization by automating responses initiated by the business. Moreover, the AI will actively assist small businesses in creating apt Instagram or Facebook advertisements via the WhatsApp Small Business App. Conversations driven by AI will improve ROI by ensuring businesses communicate with the right audience, leading to a more meaningful engagement.
Adding to its suite of features, Meta will empower businesses with tools to interact with customers post-purchase, assist in product and service discovery, and even propose promotional offers and discounts.
“Our vision is not just to build a single AI assistant, but also to enable lots of different AIs that can serve different purposes, including for businesses”, Mark Zuckerberg, Chief Executive Officer of Meta, enunciated at the Sao Paulo event. The novel AI features are currently being tested only with English language businesses in India and Singapore with subsequent integration plans for Brazilian businesses.
