Iran Press/Asia – President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Acting President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, First Vice in a phone talk discussed a road project that will connect Zangilan to Nakhchivan through Iran.
Zangilan is located in the southeastern part of the Minor Caucasus on the left bank of the Aras River. It is neighbored with the Republic of Armenia in the west and the northwest and with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the south.
The central town is the city of Zangilan.
