    Iran Acting FM Meets and Discusses D-8 Foreign Ministers

    Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani has met Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi.

    Senior Iranian diplomat urged the expansion of relations with Indonesia as a major Asian country and called for the joint economic committee of Iran and Indonesia to convene in due time.

    Bagheri Kani on the Israeli Genocide in Gaza said that the human duty of Muslim countries is to provide support for the people of Gaza.

    The Indonesian foreign minister, for her part, pledged Jakarta’s determination to implement the agreements already signed with Tehran. Marsudi said that her country will use every effort to support the Palestinians’ legitimate right to self-defense.

    Ali Bagheri Kani and Pakistani Foreign Minister Meeting

    In a separate meeting, Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani met with Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and the two sides discussed the expansion of relations between Tehran and Islamabad.

    Ali Bagheri Kanis said,  “Our common destiny requires us to plan for the further strengthening and development of the two countries’ relations in the future”.

    Mohammad Ishaq Dar on his part stressed that Islamabad is determined to follow through with the agreements reached during President Raisi’s recent visit to Pakistan.
