Russia is set to host the fourth BRICS Solutions Awards competition, showcasing the finest technological solutions and practices from BRICS countries. The event, organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) in partnership with the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is supported by the BRICS Business Council.

Participants of the BRICS Solutions Awards can enter their projects in eight different categories, such as Climate and Environmental Technologies, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Services, and Competencies and Human Resources Development, as reported by TV BRICS. The deadline for submissions is 31 July, with the results being announced during the BRICS Business Council meeting in October 2024, preceding the BRICS summit.

Mikhail Makarov, the Director of the International Relations Office of ASI, highlighted the competition’s significance in promoting dialogue on the future of the technology sector and establishing a system of independent and multipolar cooperation. He emphasized that the competition’s focus evolves annually in accordance with the priorities of the hosting country.

An esteemed international jury will assess the submissions to ensure a transparent and fair selection process. Makarov underscored the overarching goal of fostering collaboration and innovation within the technology sector through the BRICS Solutions Awards competition.
